YSG for Alémais — Sydney Design HQ

Bold, colourful, and full of expression, the Sydney headquarters of Australian-based womenswear label Alémais reflects the brand’s free-spirited creativity. Designed by YSG Studio, the 491 m² Surry Hills warehouse has been transformed into a dreamy, sensory space that blurs the line between fashion, art, and myth.

Arriving within the HQ feels like entering a galaxy of limitless imagination — beneath a constellation of fibreglass moon pendants in lavender, champagne gold, olive, and aubergine tones. Textural layers of brick, marble, shell, and reed create warmth and tactility, while playful motifs — starfish handles, eye-shaped tables, and mosaic murals — spark curiosity at every turn.

The interiors balance beauty and function: a tile-lined reception, semi-open kitchen and dining area, and custom screens inlaid with vintage Tuareg mats hand-sourced by us. Every corner celebrates craftsmanship, individuality, and the creative pulse that defines both Alémais and YSG Studio.
